The PowerBlock consists of a series of weight elements, each with a heavier mass, that fit together and are joined together with a strong pin system. This pin is attached with a strong elastic to the middle of the weight nest. Several elements can be combined to the desired weight and with the double pins these weights are fixed to the handle. All you have to do is lift your chosen weight with the handle and start your exercises. How easy it can be to exercise!

The handle element contains two additional cylindrical weights that (both or just one) can be used to fine tune the weight training load.

'EXP' models start at 50 lbs. (20.7 kg) per dumbbell and can then be expanded with 2 kits.

One kit adds 20 lbs. (9 kg) to each dumbbell, so a Stage 2 is 5-70 (32 kg) and Stage 3 is 5-90 (40.8 kg). This is a great option for anyone who wants their ensemble to grow with them.

• Side rails: the bands on the side rails show the weight of the selected dumbbell with the pin. The pin covers the band/rail that has been selected to easily show what the weight is. Some models use colored boards on the handle to coordinate with the colored band on the rail.
• Automatic lock: EXP models have an "auto lock" for micro-adjustments by reducing the weight of the handle by 1.1 kg. The two 1.1kg tubes inside the tubes at the base of the handle can be removed by pulling the lever. Tilt the handle back so the internal weights don't spill out, then gradually tilt the handle forward to remove the weights. Manually close the lever or insert the handle into the weight stack to close automatically.
